Job Description

The role of Senior Procurement Specialist is a strategic leadership position responsible for driving cost savings, quality, efficiency, and value across multiple categories. This involves developing and executing end-to-end sourcing strategies that align with the organisation's long-term objectives.

Key responsibilities include leading complex sourcing initiatives, global supplier engagements, and contract negotiations to secure favourable terms while minimising risk. The successful candidate will also be responsible for analysing procurement and spend data, identifying trends, forecasting demand, and generating actionable insights.

Additionally, the Senior Procurement Specialist will oversee the full contract lifecycle, ensuring compliance, performance, and value optimisation. This includes drafting and reviewing contract documents, including Master Agreements, Amendments, Statements of Work, and Non-Disclosure Agreements, where legal input is required.

The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, as well as experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management. They will also possess proficient skills in Excel and procurement tools, such as SAP, Oracle, or Workday.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field (Master's preferred)
  • 10+ years' experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management
  • Proven ability to lead complex sourcing initiatives and global supplier engagements
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Proficient in Excel and procurement tools
