We are seeking a skilled and experienced Building Surveyor to join our team.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of providing high-quality surveying services, with a strong focus on ensuring compliance and safety in building projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out regulatory assessments on commercial projects
  • Conduct early phase compliance assessments and reporting through concept/schematic/design development
  • Assess project documentation against the deemed-to-satisfy and performance requirements of the Building Code of Australia
  • Facilitate the preparation of Certificate of Likely Compliance, Occupancy Permits, Certificates and documentation
  • Manage multiple projects from beginning to end
  • Liaise with stakeholders and provide technical assistance to clients
Requirements:
  • Licensed or nearly licensed as a Building Surveyor
  • 5+ years experience in a similar role is preferred
  • Degree or Post Graduate qualification in Building Surveying
  • Sound knowledge of current Building Act, Regulations and Building Code of Australia
  • Be well informed with Building Surveyors Code of Practice in Tasmania
  • Demonstrated time management and organisation skills with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong writing skills and ability to communicate with people at all levels
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Computer literate
  • Current Driver's licence
