Job Title: Building Surveyor

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Building Surveyor to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all building projects comply with relevant regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Support our existing client base through sound technical knowledge and professionalism.">
  • Carry out regulatory assessments on all types of commercial projects.">
  • Conduct early phase compliance assessments and reporting through concept/schematic/design development.">
  • Assess project documentation against the deemed-to-satisfy and performance requirements of the Building Code of Australia, Act and Regs.">
  • Prepare Certificate of Likely Compliance, Occupancy Permits, Certificates and documentation.">
  • Manage multiple projects from beginning to end.">
  • Lead by example and assist in the development of staff, through growth, education and support.">
  • Liaise with relevant stakeholders and provide technical assistance to clients.">

Requirements:

We are looking for a candidate who has:

">
  • ">
  • A valid license or nearly licensed as a Building Surveyor.">
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar role.">
  • A degree or postgraduate qualification in Building Surveying.">
  • Sound knowledge of current Building Act, Regulations and Building Code of Australia.">
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.">
  • Strong writing skills and ability to communicate with people at all levels.">
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.">
  • Current Driver's licence.">
