Technical Lead - Mobile Application Development

We are seeking a skilled and experienced technology leader to spearhead our mobile application engineering efforts across web, cross-platform, and native development.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in leading engineering teams, providing technical guidance, and overseeing the design, development, and implementation of enterprise applications.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Be a subject matter expert in Xamarin or Maui, providing technical leadership
  • Oversee technical activities from requirements to deployment
  • Manage squads to ensure high standards in planning, coding, testing, and documentation
  • Coordinate with stakeholders on scope, schedules, and release plans
  • Promote continuous improvement and technical standards organization-wide
  • Collaborate with UI/UX designers for user-friendly interfaces
  • Identify and implement application performance and quality improvements
  • Ensure integration with back-end services via REST APIs
  • Perform or supervise testing, debugging, and updates
  • Stay current with emerging mobile development trends

Requirements:

  • Residency in or near Brisbane; able to work onsite at least 3 days/week
  • Minimum 5 years in Xamarin or Maui development (Forms or Native)
  • Experience in cross-platform mobile app lifecycle management
  • Proven tech leadership in squad and client environments
