We are seeking an experienced mobile application engineering leader to drive innovation and excellence across web, cross-platform, and native development.

This leadership role will contribute significantly to top-tier enterprise applications through technical expertise, strategic planning, and effective communication skills.

The ideal candidate will oversee the design, development, and implementation of enterprise application changes while supporting Business As Usual (BAU) teams as needed.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in Xamarin or Maui, providing technical guidance to ensure high standards in engineering.
  • Lead technical activities from requirements gathering to deployment, ensuring seamless project execution.
  • Manage squads to promote collaborative work environments, fostering growth and development among team members.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to coordinate scope, schedules, and release plans, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Promote continuous improvement and technical standards organization-wide, staying current with emerging trends and best practices.
  • Work closely with UI/UX designers to create user-friendly interfaces that enhance user experience.
  • IDentify and implement application performance and quality improvements, ensuring integration with back-end services via REST APIs.
  • Perform or supervise testing, debugging, and updates, maintaining high-quality software delivery.
  • Stay updated on the latest mobile development trends, applying this knowledge to drive innovation and growth.
Key Requirements for Success
  • You must reside in Brisbane and be able to work onsite at least 3 days per week.
  • You should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Xamarin or Maui development (Forms or Native).
  • You should possess experience in cross-platform mobile app lifecycle management.
  • You should have proven technical leadership experience in squad and client environments.
