Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance Officer to join our team on a 12-month contract. The purpose of this role is to ensure Pepper Financial Services Group remains compliant with relevant Anti-Money Laundering (AML) legislation in Australia and New Zealand.
The successful candidate will be responsible for investigating transaction monitoring alerts, drafting Suspicious Matter Reports, and reviewing AML/CTF and Financial Crime escalations from business units.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual with experience in AML/CTF or Financial Crimes roles. You will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
The ideal candidate will be able to multitask, manage multiple deadlines, and work collaboratively as part of a dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities
- Investigate transaction monitoring alerts to identify potential AML/CTF activity or fraudulent activity;
- Draft Suspicious Matter Reports for review by the Senior Compliance Manager;
- Review AML/CTF and Financial Crime escalations from business units;
- Assist in the completion of compliance monitoring to ensure Pepper's policies, practices, and programs are consistently applied throughout the business;
