The primary purpose of this role is to develop, implement, and maintain IT security policies, procedures, and controls to safeguard the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of information assets. As an IT Risk and Compliance Specialist, you will be responsible for conducting regular audits, risk assessments, and compliance checks to identify and mitigate potential security threats and vulnerabilities.



You will collaborate with various departments to ensure that all IT-related activities align with regulatory standards and best practices. In addition, you will engage and support the IT organization and business to align priorities and plans with key business objectives while ensuring that our key risks and controls are addressed.



This role requires a strong understanding of IT security and compliance frameworks, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various departments. You will also have experience with management and implementation of information security risk management standards.

Key Responsibilities


  • Develop, implement, and maintain IT security policies, procedures, and controls to safeguard the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of information assets.
  • Conduct regular audits, risk assessments, and compliance checks to identify and mitigate potential security threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure that all IT-related activities align with regulatory standards and best practices.
  • Engage and support the IT organization and business to align priorities and plans with key business objectives while ensuring that our key risks and controls are addressed.
  • Manage and implement information security risk management standards.


Requirements


  • At minimum, 6-8 years of experience in IT Security, Compliance or audit roles with relevant SOX auditing and/or Risk Management experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • Advanced degrees (e.g., Master's) in relevant fields is a plus.
  • Relevant and recent working experience with a BIG-4 firm is a plus.
  • Certifications such as 'Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC), Certified Sarbanes-Oxley Expert (CSOE) or similar.
  • Hands-on SAP (ECC, GRC, HANA) experience in running detailed analysis through SAP default t-codes, programs or reports.
  • Experience with management and implementation of information security risk management standards e.g. NIST or ISO.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various departments.
  • Attention to details and proactive approach to identifying opportunities for improvements.
  • Ability to deep dive but also logically assess and holistically address projects and decision-making.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a strong sense of ownership.
  • Strong team-player that easily builds relationships.
  • Strong organizational skills, self-motivated, dedicated and well-organized.
