Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular monitoring to ensure adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies, reviewing processes, procedures, and practices within the organisation to identify any areas of non-compliance.
  • Support compliance audits and investigations by assisting in the planning, execution, and follow-up activities, including conducting analysis and monitoring corrective actions to address identified non-compliance issues.
  • Collaborate with other departments to identify and assess potential compliance risks and vulnerabilities.
  • Assist in developing risk mitigation strategies, controls, and procedures to minimise exposure to compliance-related risks.
  • Communicate compliance requirements and expectations to employees, provide guidance on compliance-related matters, and serve as a resource for compliance-related inquiries.

What You'll Need:

  • In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Strong understanding of compliance frameworks and methodologies, including the ability to interpret and apply regulatory requirements to organisational policies and procedures.

About You:

We are seeking an experienced Compliance Specialist who has a keen eye for detail, can understand complex IT systems, and is able to simplify complexities. You will be friendly, empathetic, and ready to collaborate with various internal teams. This is a hybrid role, requiring presence in our Sydney office twice a week, with opportunities for remote work. We offer flexible working arrangements, access to professional development opportunities, and a competitive salary range of $100,000 - $130,000 per annum (dependent on experience).
