Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Building Manager to join our team at Grupo Mantra. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of our properties, ensuring a high level of service and quality for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the maintenance and repair of all property facilities, including buildings, grounds, and equipment.
  • Manage and supervise a team of maintenance staff, ensuring they have the necessary training and resources to perform their duties effectively.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and programs to ensure the property remains in good condition.
  • Coordinate with contractors and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective completion of maintenance tasks.
  • Monitor and control maintenance budgets, ensuring that expenses are within approved limits.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as housekeeping and front office, to ensure seamless operations and high levels of guest satisfaction.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the property to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including property owners, residents, and local authorities.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a maintenance or facilities management role, preferably in a resort or hospitality setting.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing maintenance teams and budgets.
  • Strong knowledge of maintenance practices, including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer service.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field (e.g. facilities management, hospitality) preferred.
