About The Role:
  • Oversee daily operations, including troubleshooting and ensuring smooth shift handovers across production, cold room, and transport teams.
  • Manage inventory and dispatch, ensuring stock rotation (FIFO), accurate receipting of incoming goods, and timely loading of trucks to meet dispatch schedules.
Responsibilities:
  1. Shift Coordination:
  • Coordinate daily operations, oversee problem-solving efforts, and facilitate effective communication among team members.
Inventory Management:
  • Ensure efficient inventory management, monitor stock levels, and implement strategies to optimize storage capacity.
Dispatch and Delivery:
  • Supervise the preparation and dispatch of goods, guaranteeing timely delivery and meeting customer expectations.
Quality Control:
  • Implement quality control measures, including temperature checks, product code verification, and shelf-life monitoring.
Labour and Staffing:
  • Efficiently manage labour resources, allocating tasks, and supporting staff development initiatives.
Requirements:
  • 3-4 years' experience in Supply Chain and/or Logistics Operations.
  • 1-2 years of proven people leadership experience.
  • A Diploma in Supply Chain Management or equivalent is preferred.
  • Solid working knowledge of SAP and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel and Outlook.
