We are seeking a skilled Operations Manager to lead our service operations team and oversee the maintenance of our shopping mall.
As an experienced professional, you will be responsible for planning, formulating, managing, and overseeing the operations, maintenance, and upkeep of the shopping mall. This includes reviewing facilities management programs and developments to ensure the shopping mall performs at an optimum level.
- Lead the operations team in managing service operations (security & carpark) and maintenance of the mall.
- Plan, formulate, manage and oversee the operations, maintenance, and upkeep of the shopping mall.
- Review facilities management programs and developments to ensure the shopping mall performs at an optimum level.
- Responsible for coordination of annual operation budget, administration, and management of service contracts.
- Prepare and collate relevant management reports.
- Ensure reliability and efficiency of plant and equipment.
- Conduct energy conservation & environmental program to reduce operating costs.
- Analyse BAS system data to conduct proactive maintenance and minimise equipment downtime.
- Maintain good relations with tenants, manage tenant fit-out works and Asset Enhancement Projects.
- Keep the property in excellent condition.
- Diploma in Estate Management, Building, Mechanical & Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 7 years of relevant working experience with 3 years at a managerial position in a similar capacity.
- Experience in property management, shopping complex, or retail environment with involvement in asset enhancement projects.
- Familiarity with Electricity Supply Act, Electricity Regulations, IEE Wiring Regulations, etc.
- Familiarity with building/retail mail maintenance work and regulations.
- Knowledge of car parking equipment, security, and housekeeping.
- Self-driven and able to work within tight deadlines.
- Possess strong leadership, people management, and interpersonal skills.
- Flexible and result-oriented in approach.
- Proven ability to be flexible, prioritise and manage multiple projects, as well as solve problems in a timely manner.
- Candidate with A4 or BO Chargeman Certification from Suruhanjaya Tenaga Malaysia will be an added advantage.
- Possess good command of both written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Computer literate with good report writing skills.
