This is an exciting chance to drive meaningful change and enhance our workplace culture. The role has a dual reporting line, bridging the NITV and SBS teams.

The key responsibilities include:

  • Employee Engagement & Experience: Implement initiatives to elevate key moments in the employee journey, fostering inclusivity and aligning with First Nations cultural values.
  • Talent Development & Retention: Support talent mapping, succession planning, and retention strategies to nurture and retain First Nations leaders and employees.
  • Wellbeing Programs: Design and deliver holistic wellbeing programs addressing mental, physical, spiritual, and cultural needs.
  • Indigenous Employment Strategy: Collaborate with the SBS Talent Acquisition team to develop and execute a refreshed Indigenous Employment Strategy.
  • Onboarding & Support: Oversee onboarding processes and act as a support officer for NITV staff during formal complaints processes, ensuring alignment with cultural values.
  • Staff Events & Communications: Coordinate divisional communications and events to enhance team cohesion and engagement.

Ideal candidates will have experience driving improvements to processes and/or practices, implementing people-based programs and initiatives, working in collaboration with key stakeholders, and possessing a high degree of First Nations cultural proficiency and understanding.
