About this role

We're seeking a Project Cost Controller to join our Delivery Project Services team in Melbourne, Australia.

The successful candidate will deliver and present project controls on assigned projects, including project reporting, estimating, cost engineering, planning, scheduling, and change management.

This mid-profession position receives ongoing training and guidance on project controls disciplines.

You'll work closely with the Project Controls Manager(s) and other stakeholders to implement and manage project controls services.

  • Create project data dashboards, presentations, and analysis
  • Prepare purchase requisitions and extract project budget and cost data using SAP
  • Advise Project Leads/Operations Manager of areas of actual or potential problems
  • Develop reporting dashboards using MS Excel and Power BI
  • Update schedules and prepare estimates
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on project deliverables
  • Highlight unfavourable trends for corrective action

Maintain commercial awareness of contract packages through understanding awarded work scope.
