Cost Modelling Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Cost Modelling Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and validating detailed cost estimates for various services, including resources, software licences, and managed service providers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and validate detailed cost estimates
  • Lead the development of financial models
  • Deliver financial insights to support Directors in identifying cost efficiencies and productivity improvements
  • Support business case development with ROI and cost-benefit analysis
  • Monitor budgets, forecast expenditures, and report on cost variances
  • Collaborate with Finance and IMT teams to align financial planning with operational service delivery

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in cost modelling, financial forecasting, and business case support
  • Strong understanding of IMT services and investment analysis in a government context
  • Demonstrated ability to partner with operational and project stakeholders
  • Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills
  • CPA/CA qualification is desirable
