Job Title: Cost Management Specialist
Role OverviewThe Health Capital Program (HCP) is seeking a Cost Management Specialist to support the cost management and reporting of multiple projects, including High Value and High-Risk projects.
This role involves contributing to all aspects of project cost control, including budget allocation, cost deviation reporting, cash flow analysis, cost forecasting, and change management.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Project Controls and HCP delivery team in a matrix setting to ensure effective progress monitoring and reporting.
Key Responsibilities- Contribute to project cost control, including budget allocation, cost deviation reporting, cash flow analysis, cost forecasting, and change management.
- Support the development of business cases for accurate project cost estimation.
- Operate the Project Controls System to implement Cost Control systems and procedures in accordance with established guidelines.
The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical capability, knowledge of Cost Control principles, and experience in critically reviewing cost data.
A high degree of competency with various systems, such as cost planning, finance, and MS office, is required.
Previous experience in large building or infrastructure projects, preferably health infrastructure projects and/or multidisciplinary projects, and a relevant tertiary degree, such as Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Construction, Cost Management, or a related field, are essential.
