We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plant Mechanic to join our team in Port Hedland. As a Field Service Plant Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of Caterpillar equipment across various industries.
Key Responsibilities:- Diagnose faults on Caterpillar equipment at customer sites and implement effective solutions
- Carry out repairs, maintenance, and servicing of mining and marine machinery to meet customer needs
- Implement Product Improvement Plans and Support Programs to enhance machine availability and reliability
- Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to industry standards and best practices
- Collaborate with customers to achieve machine availability and reliability Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Australian Heavy Mobile Plant Trade Certificate with post-trade experience in Field Service
- Current driver's license and heavy rigid vehicle (HRV) license
- Hold necessary certifications, including Working at Heights (WAH), High-Risk Work License (HRWL), and Refrigerant Handling License (RHL)
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills using Caterpillar SIS and ET systems
- Experience with Caterpillar Mining Machinery and Marine equipment
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in remote environments
