Overview

Total Connections, an Australian company specialising in the mobile servicing and replacement of hydraulic and industrial hoses, fittings, and components, is seeking a skilled Hydraulic Technician / Hydraulic Hose Technician for Port Hedland. The role is available as FIFO from Perth or a residential position in Port Hedland.

Responsibilities
  • Attend onsite breakdowns and perform hose replacements
  • Assemble and crimp hydraulic hose assemblies
  • Install new systems on plant and equipment
  • Diagnose hydraulic faults and perform minor repairs
  • Service fire suppression systems
  • Use mobile systems for accurate job documentation and reporting
  • Support clients across mine sites, workshops, and mobile operations

Training and development are available for applicants without industry-specific experience but with strong mechanical aptitude.

Qualifications
  • Solid mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability
  • Good communication and customer service mindset
  • HR or MR class driver's licence
  • Construction White Card
  • Prior experience with hydraulic systems or hose and fittings
  • Exposure to mobile plant, drilling rigs, or mining equipment
  • Forklift licence or experience in fire suppression system servicing
