Overview
Total Connections, an Australian company specialising in the mobile servicing and replacement of hydraulic and industrial hoses, fittings, and components, is seeking a skilled Hydraulic Technician / Hydraulic Hose Technician for Port Hedland. The role is available as FIFO from Perth or a residential position in Port Hedland.
Responsibilities
Attend onsite breakdowns and perform hose replacements
Assemble and crimp hydraulic hose assemblies
Install new systems on plant and equipment
Diagnose hydraulic faults and perform minor repairs
Service fire suppression systems
Use mobile systems for accurate job documentation and reporting
Support clients across mine sites, workshops, and mobile operations
Training and development are available
for applicants without industry-specific experience but with strong mechanical aptitude.
Qualifications
Solid mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability
Good communication and customer service mindset
HR or MR class driver's licence
Construction White Card
Prior experience with hydraulic systems or hose and fittings
Exposure to mobile plant, drilling rigs, or mining equipment
Forklift licence or experience in fire suppression system servicing
