About the OpportunityWe are seeking an experienced Production Scheduler to join our manufacturing team in Lidcombe. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for scheduling production across all factories, ensuring accurate and high-quality schedules are developed and implemented.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Developing accurate, high-quality production schedules for individual SKUs, utilising best-practice processes and sound business knowledge.
- Assisting in the development and execution of planning activities and productivity initiatives, ensuring lean operating standards are created and implemented.
- Producing activity control, releasing orders to production, revising and rescheduling orders, investigating scheduling delays, recommending corrective action, and notifying product availability issues.
- Liaising with the milk and dairy ingredients team to ensure required dairy ingredients are ordered and supplied to meet planned production requirements.
- Supporting the Supply Planning Manager in developing and publishing key planning metrics and consulting with site Planners to optimise production schedules.
- Providing timely data to Shift Managers to support improvement plans and managing inventory levels to achieve excellence in CSL without compromising stock on hand targets.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience in a production scheduling role supporting a food manufacturing operation.
- A working knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and HACCP.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail.
We are looking for an individual with a positive and proactive attitude, able to foster positive working relationships and work autonomously as part of an efficient team.
