
Strategic Grocery Account Manager

The role of National Account Manager is pivotal in building and executing joint business strategies with key clients.
- Act as the primary liaison for ongoing customer engagement, supported by the NBM team.
- Manage promotional planning, volume forecasting, expenditure projections, and ROI reviews to drive sales growth.
- Lead the range review process – from stakeholder coordination to QBR preparation and new product submissions.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain and S&OP teams to ensure accurate forecasting and demand planning.
Key qualifications include:
- Commercial acumen and self-sufficiency as a National Account Executive or Account Manager.
- Strong understanding of grocery retail operations.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver results on time.
- Analytical thinking and a structured approach to problem-solving.
- Financial expertise – confident in forecasts, budgets, and trade expenditure.
- Experience working with Coles, Woolworths, or Independent channels is advantageous.
- Confidence in negotiation and deep understanding of trading dynamics.
Success in this role requires a passion for developing relationships and driving business outcomes.
