Pediatric Registrar Opportunity in Melbourne

We are currently seeking applications for a Pediatric Registrar position at Casey Hospital, offering a unique opportunity to gain experience in general pediatric medicine and neonatal care in a fast-paced metropolitan setting. This role is ideal for medical professionals looking to expand their skills and knowledge in pediatric emergency and acute care.
The successful candidate will join a team of experienced registrars, working closely together to provide 24/7 coverage for our services. With a broad range of general pediatric experience available, this position is perfect for those looking to develop their skills in areas such as airway management, resuscitation, and critical care.
In addition to gaining valuable clinical experience, you will also have the opportunity to participate in educational programs and workshops designed to enhance your professional development. Our commitment to ongoing training and support ensures that our staff remain up-to-date with the latest advances in medical practice.
To be considered for this role, applicants must possess current registration with AHPRA, a valid Working with Children Check, and satisfactory completion of an Advanced Paediatric Life Support (APLS) course or equivalent. A minimum of three months prior experience in neonatal care is highly desirable, although candidates without neonatal experience may still be considered if they possess relevant acute care experience.
This is a parental leave cover position, which will commence on a specific date until a specific date. The full-time position will offer a salary of $120,000-$150,000 per annum, dependent on qualifications and experience.
