We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Pediatric Speech Pathologist to join our team in Endeavour Hills, Narre Warren. As a Paediatric Speech Pathologist at Yooralla, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality speech pathology services to children with disabilities.

About the Role

  • This fulfilling role will provide best practice, evidence-based speech pathology services across the scope of practice to children with a disability to achieve their goals and live the life they choose.

Your working days may involve:

  • delivering therapy in people's homes, educational settings or in the community; aimed at maximising a person's functional skills and participation as well as promoting physical health and wellbeing
  • communication skills and/or mealtime safety and promoting overall health and wellbeing.
  • working part of an interdisciplinary team of Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists and Psychologists
  • providing indirect client service/family coordination to support client goals.

About You

  • You'll be an established and enthusiastic Speech Pathologist with a tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline, be a member of Speech Pathology Australia (SPA), have good interpersonal skills, and ability to engage people with a disability, motivate them and build their capability.
  • Experience working within a transdisciplinary/multidisciplinary team model is highly regarded.
  • You'll also have the opportunity to build on your clinical practice – including the ability to self-reflect and a focus on developing clinical skills in areas you're not familiar with.
  • Care for the work you do and for the people you work with is essential.
  • Competency in a variety of IT platforms, particularly client management systems, is necessary.
  • Good verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills are required.
  • An Australian driver's licence and own vehicle, and a willingness to travel across southern suburbs as required.

Salary and Benefits

  • The salary range for this position is $85,380.74 - $104,551.89 per annum, plus superannuation and salary packaging.
