Job Title

LMS Administrator

\

As a highly experienced Learning Management System (LMS) administrator, you will be the primary point of contact between internal end-users and external system vendors.

\

This role plays an integral part of a multi-disciplinary team to ensure that goals and objectives of new business development requests are accomplished within prescribed timeframes.

\

Key Responsibilities:

\
  • Create, modify, and delete courses for staff training and development purposes.
  • Manage licenses to the system to ensure authorized access and minimize costs.
  • Collaborate with course content owners to optimize learning delivery and outcomes for staff.
  • Gather user requirements for system enhancements and communicate these to the vendor.
  • Manage vendor delivery of requested enhancements to meet the needs of the organization.
  • Test enhancements to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Communicate new features coming from system releases and how they can be utilized to solve business problems.
  • Utilize the system's reporting capability to produce reports on key metrics such as completions, enrollments, etc.
  • Identify opportunities for automation to increase efficiency and reduce manual errors.
  • Manage system permissions to ensure appropriate access and security controls are in place.
  • Work with stakeholders to drive course content governance and adherence to organizational standards.

About You:

\
  • Minimum of 5 years commercial experience in LMS administration.
  • Experience and deep knowledge of Sharable Content Object Reference Model (SCORM).
  • Experience working with vendors, ideally those specializing in LMS solutions.
  • Technical, maintenance, and development support experience.
  • Experience enhancing functionality, dashboards, user experience, reporting, and automation within LMS environments.
  • Ability to identify opportunities for process improvements and leverage system functionality for greater efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Development of automation within training and induction functions.
  • Support successful implementation of solutions through effective communication and project management skills.
  • Ensure ongoing management and governance practices are put in place for each initiative.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
