Senior Rail Project Manager Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Rail Project Manager to join our team in delivering complex rail projects and programmes.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Identifying, pursuing, and delivering work for rail sector clients with support from Technical Directors and Consultants/Senior Consultants.
  • Developing follow-on opportunities to grow presence in the transport sector.
  • Working with global colleagues to deliver work, grow organisational knowledge, and contribute to development of new services.
  • Leading teams to deliver quality outcomes, including line management, performance management, and mentoring.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree level qualification (engineering, business, economics or other relevant field), or technical qualifications gained in industry.
  • Significant experience working in rail or transports sectors in Australia and New Zealand.
  • Exposure to regulatory frameworks for transport sector, and deep understanding of rail sector challenges and opportunities.
  • Experience leading teams, with good communication and ability to build rapport.
  • Business planning, including commercial management, risk management, and planning.
Desirable Experience

Prior experience in asset management capability assessment and improvement road-mapping, delivering transformational, multi-year programs, rail sector safety and technical planning, and asset management software system management or implementation would be highly regarded.
