Job Title: Human Resources Strategic Partner

This is an exciting opportunity to partner with a dynamic team to drive positive culture initiatives and contribute to the success of our organization.

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will be instrumental in the execution of business strategies and operational objectives. The role involves providing HR advisory support and coaching on people matters, including workforce planning, performance management, talent development, employee relations, and change management.

You will also be responsible for analysing and monitoring workforce trends to identify leading trends for the operational workgroup and supporting proactive strategies in response.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide HR advisory support and coaching on people matters including workforce planning, performance management, talent development, employee relations, and change management.
  • Analyse and monitor workforce trends to identify leading trends for the operational workgroup and support proactive strategies in response.
  • Offer direct HR support to operational leaders, helping them manage their daily tasks and drive positive culture initiatives within their teams.
  • Develop and maintain professional working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure quality service delivery.
  • Collaborate with the broader HR team to drive continuous improvement of our service delivery.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following skills and qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualification in human resources or related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience in human resources within mining or other related heavy industries.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain collaborative partnerships with employees and management.
  • Skilled in using influence to gain buy-in and drive change.
  • Sound experience in Employee Relations, including interpreting and advising on enterprise agreements.
  • Skilled in applying logic and critical thinking to resolve workplace challenges.
  • Experience using HRIS platforms such as Workday.
  • Valid C class driver's licence.
