Job Overview

We seek a seasoned Contract Management Professional to spearhead the development and execution of enterprise-wide contract strategies across our global procurement team.

The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in driving best-value outcomes through effective supplier engagement, commercial negotiation, and proactive contract governance. This includes accountability for managing complex contracts across various categories, including medical, property, and professional services.

As a trusted advisor and mentor to the sourcing team, you will provide strategic insights, resolve issues when needed, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our enterprise-wide contract governance framework.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and execute contract management strategies across the portfolio to drive business value and mitigate risk.
  2. Collaborate with senior stakeholders to shape and refine enterprise-level contract management principles, policies, and standards.
  3. Lead end-to-end contract lifecycle activities for high-value projects, including stakeholder engagement, contract strategy formulation, baseline validation, supplier negotiations, and post-award management.
  4. Partner with legal and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate contract drafting, review, and execution.
  5. Drive supplier performance measures and be accountable for managing ongoing value delivery.
  6. Engage and influence key business stakeholders to deliver outcomes in collaboration with the Procurement team.
Qualifications and Experience
  1. Relevant graduate or postgraduate qualifications in Business, Commerce, Accounting, Supply Chain Operations, Engineering, or Law.
  2. 15+ years of experience in Procurement and/or contract management, from strategy development to execution.
  3. Proven experience in leading successful commercial negotiations with evidence of innovative thinking, negotiation skills, and strategic negotiation planning.
  4. Proficient in preparing and evaluating business cases, risk profiles, and cost models.
  5. Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure transparency and accuracy.
  6. Ability to lead, influence, and collaborate with cross-functional and indirect teams within procurement.
  7. Category experience with medical, property, professional services.
  8. Ability to articulate performance imperatives and hold partners accountable to SLAs / resolve escalated issues.
  9. Experience developing metrics, projections, and financial models.
  10. Understanding of customer experience and customer-centricity principles.
  11. Ownership mindset and integrity to deliver required results.
  12. Strong commercial acumen and stakeholder management capabilities.
  13. Ability to communicate complex ideas simply and influence at all levels.
  14. Demonstrated ability to rapidly build relationships with key stakeholders across the organisation.
