Electrical Design Expert

The role of an electrical design expert is multifaceted and demanding. We are seeking a highly skilled individual to join our team in Sydney, where they will be responsible for the successful delivery of innovative electrical design solutions across various sectors including Data Centres, Healthcare, Education, Commercial, and Retail.

As a key member of our team, you will work closely with colleagues from various disciplines, preparing detailed engineering designs using appropriate software such as PowerCad and AGI32/Dialux. Your expertise will be instrumental in driving the success of our projects, and you will have the opportunity to assume greater levels of responsibility and autonomy as your professional skills develop.

Key aspects of this role include:

  • Preparing detailed engineering designs using relevant software
  • Working across various sectors, including Data Centres, Healthcare, Education, Commercial, and Retail
  • Collaborating with colleagues from various disciplines
  • Assuming greater levels of responsibility and autonomy as professional skills develop

Our ideal candidate will possess a degree-level qualification in Electrical or Building Services (MEng, BEng, or equivalent) along with relevant experience in a consultancy role within a building services environment. They will be well-versed in the use of relevant design software, including PowerCad and AGI32 or equivalent, and preferably Revit.

Additionally, the successful candidate will have proven ability in producing electrical design solutions, carrying out site inspections and surveys, detail design development, and will have a passion for creative and intuitive design.

Excellent communication skills and experience of using initiative to overcome challenges are essential for this role.
