Electrical Design Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Design Expert to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive electrical design solutions.

The role requires strong technical expertise in the design of high-voltage transmission substations, including low-voltage control and protection systems. Experience in sourcing and integrating control systems hardware and associated cabling is also essential.

  • Developing innovative engineering solutions and work processes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Providing technical support on secondary systems and protection design projects.
  • Designing and implementing electrical systems from concept through to detail, including specifications, report writing, calculations, and relay configurations.
  • Ensuring all work meets Australian standards and sound engineering principles.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven experience in Transmission Secondary and SCADA environments.
  • Strong knowledge of HV transmission substation protection systems.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
