Job Title: Census Engagement LeadThe Australian Bureau of Statistics is seeking skilled individuals to fill a crucial role in the 2026 Census.About the Role:
  • We are looking for someone to develop and implement effective engagement strategies across assigned regions
  • Deliver targeted outreach programs to increase participation rates, particularly in remote areas
  • Maintain accurate records of engagement activities using our Stakeholder Management System
  • Promote Census awareness through community events, presentations, and other promotional activities
  • BUILD STRONG RELATIONSHIPS WITH LOCAL COMMUNITIES AND STAKEHOLDERS
Key Qualities and Experience:
  • Demonstrated experience or knowledge in working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples
  • Ability to effectively communicate and engage with diverse stakeholders
  • Skill in developing tailored approaches to meet the needs of various communities
