About the Role

As an Administrative Coordinator for Strategic Operations, you will play a key role in supporting the effective delivery of business unit functions. This includes providing administrative support to staff, setting priorities, and monitoring workflows to ensure efficient service delivery across various activities.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing high-level administrative support, including assisting with correspondence, reports, minutes, and other materials
  • Assisting with administrative tasks for work unit records, human resource, and finance administration activities
  • Utilizing departmental systems/databases to create, update, review, and report on business activities
  • Coordinating meetings, training courses, workshops, travel, and accommodation itineraries
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders

Key Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly desirable: Government purchasing (Level 1), knowledge or experience in human resource, finance systems (SAP/Aurion), and document management systems and reporting

Other Information

Please note that participation in an out-of-hours on-call roster during emergency operations may be required. This may involve working outside normal hours, including night shifts, weekends, extended hours, and deployments to other parts of the state.
