Human Resources Manager Job

Job Role Overview

A high-impact Senior HR Manager is needed to join a reputable national transport and logistics provider as part of the Human Resources team. This role has the ability to influence critical business decisions.


Main Responsibilities
  • Create, update and communicate HR policies ensuring compliance with laws.
  • Establish key performance indicators, write job descriptions and assist with company restructuring.
  • Provide guidance to managers on employee performance and development.
  • Develop and implement the new review and update employee induction process.
  • Oversee all hiring activities with line managers and in conjunction with the Recruitment Coordinator.
  • Support the organization with employee relations, performance management, recruitment, training and rewards.
  • Prepare HR and payroll reports for the executive team as required.
  • Advise on legislative changes, workforce planning and skills development.
  • Manage Fair Work-related matters and general industrial relations and employment law issues.

Key Requirements

Candidates must have extensive experience in HR management with relevant tertiary qualifications. Ability to travel occasionally between sites is required. A strong background in industrial relations and employment law knowledge, including Award Interpretation and Enterprise Agreements, is essential. Exposure to a FMCG/blue-collar industry is highly regarded.
