This is a high-level HR leadership position at the intersection of business transformation, talent growth, and capability development.

As the Head of HR for the Data, Digital and AI division, you will be responsible for designing and delivering workforce strategies that support business outcomes and lead large-scale cultural transformation and agile work practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner with executives and leadership teams to drive organisational design and embed agile ways of working.
  • Contribute to a high-performing HR team and connect people strategy with business outcomes.

This is a strategic leadership opportunity to shape the future of HR across Westpac's Chief Data, Digital and AI Office (CDDAIO).

Requirements:
  • Deep experience in HR business partnering, workforce planning, and organisational design as a Head of HR (minimum 5 years' experience at Head of HR level).
  • Proven ability to lead large-scale cultural transformation and embed agile work practices.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence executives and senior leaders.
  • A track record of identifying, developing and growing talent, and building organisational wide capability.
  • A continuous improvement mindset and ability to reflect on HR processes, policies and practices.
  • Solid understanding of HR risk, governance, and compliance frameworks.
