Shangri-La The Marina, Cairns is a luxury five-star hotel located in the heart of the city. With 255 guest rooms, 18 function venues and extensive food and beverage facilities, the hotel offers an exciting opportunity for a Food & Beverage Team Leader to join its leadership team.

About the Role

This is a senior position responsible for maximizing profits, maintaining food, beverage, service quality and ensuring customer satisfaction across multiple F&B outlets. As a key member of the leadership team, you will work closely with supervisors and managers to ensure seamless operations and achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead by example and maintain high standards of professionalism and presentation
  • Work across designated service areas to maximize profits and drive revenue growth
  • Maintain food, beverage, service quality and ensure customer satisfaction for all F&B outlets
  • Collaborate with supervisors and managers to develop and implement effective strategies to achieve business objectives
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Team Leader or within a leadership role
  • Ability to obtain comprehensive understanding and knowledge of the F&B offerings and processes within their appointed section
  • Restaurant A La Carte experience
  • Valid working rights in Australia
  • A current RSA Certificate
  • Flexibility to work Morning, Afternoon and Evening Shifts across a 7-day roster, including weekends and public holidays
