Salary and Benefits

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary and benefit from an incentive scheme, as well as accommodation discounts with the group.

A dry cleaning allowance and duty meals provided in a fully staffed and maintained staff canteen are also included.

Job Description

This role involves coordinating marketing communications strategy and activities under the direction of the Marketing Communications Manager and regional leadership.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordination of public relations and key online influencer campaigns
  • Compiling and maintaining press kit information
  • Assisting in the creation of social media content, including reels, posts, and stories
  • Maintaining the Shangri-La Cairns website and ensuring content updates are implemented
  • Coordination of media activities, including photo and videographer shoots and media famils
  • writing copy for marketing channels, including web, socials, EDM, and print
  • Coordinate creation of material for advertising campaigns, compendiums, and brand and marketing campaigns
  • Maintaining F&B loyalty membership and media contacts database
  • Ad-hoc reports and maintenance of marketing administration

Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of platform activity and experience in Adobe CS, photography, videography, and graphic design expertise.

A creative flair, organizational skills, and ability to navigate the challenges and rewards of this role are essential.

Bonus Salary Information

We estimate the salary for this role to be around AUD $70,000 per annum, considering the location and industry standards.
