A highly skilled accountant is required to join a dynamic accounting firm in St Kilda.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will have around 5 years of experience in public practice accounting, with a strong compliance background particularly with companies and trusts.

This role involves preparing and reviewing compliance work for companies, trusts, and individuals, as well as supporting outsourced accounting staff and reviewing their work.

Liaising with clients over phone and email is also an essential part of this position, which is not a business development or sales role.

Assisting with tax planning, structuring, and advisory work alongside senior team members is also a key responsibility.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Around 5 years of experience in a public practice accounting firm
  • Strong compliance background (especially with companies and trusts)
  • Desire to engage more with clients and step into an advisory space
  • Confidence in reviewing others' work and helping to manage workflow
