The Opportunity
We're looking for a motivated and client-focused Management Accountant to join our Advisory Services team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to move beyond traditional accounting and play a strategic role in helping clients grow and succeed.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Reviewing account movement for the relevant period, and reviewing the P&L and Balance Sheet (Actual vs Budget)

  • Monthly and/or quarterly reconciliations including for: fixed assets, hire purchases/leases, liabilities, inter-entity loans and other balance sheet items

  • Reviewing margins and key ratios to analyse business performance

  • Preparation of monthly and/or quarterly management accounts

  • Preparation of Financial Analysis Summary including: normalised EBITDA, key metrics, working capital, net assets, cashflow summaries

  • Attend to cashflow forecasting and updating regularly

  • Working closely with directors and managers to deliver strategic business advice

  • Identifying business improvement opportunities and assisting with implementation

  • Assisting with tax planning, structuring, and compliance as part of broader advisory projects

  • Building strong relationships with clients as a trusted advisor

What We're Looking For

  • Completed a bachelor's degree in Accounting or similar discipline

  • CA or CPA qualified, currently completing or willing to commence

  • 1 years of experience in public practice, with exposure to Advisory and/or Virtual CFO services

  • Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills with a client-first mindset

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders

  • Strong skill set with Excel desirable

  • High degree of initiative and a pro-active approach with a drive to progress

  • Experience with Xero/XPM software is desirable.
