Tyre Technician Opportunity

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Tyre Technician to join our team at Mt Thorley Mine Site. As a key member of our workshop, you will be responsible for undertaking planned and reactive tyre changes/maintenance on a range of mobile mining equipment.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Carry out routine inspections and assessments of wheel components to ensure they remain in service
  • Perform tyre changes and maintenance tasks in accordance with site specifications
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed and data entered into our tyre management system
  • Collaborate with the operations team to provide an exceptional level of service to clients

About You:

  • You will have a minimum of 2 years' experience as a Tyres Technician on mine sites
  • A Certificate II in Automotive Mechanical Tyre Fitting Heavy (AUR21916/ AUR21920) would be advantageous
  • A valid Open Class driving licence is required
  • You will possess excellent initiative and ability to work well under pressure
  • Safety is paramount, with a high attention to detail to adhere to site safety procedures
