About The Role
  • As a welder, you will be responsible for ensuring equipment and related tools are in sound functional order and respond promptly to rectify damage or wear to wheels of customers.
  • You will work to best practice and service standard protocols and diagnose/identify and troubleshoot wheel damage.
  • You will ensure all equipment used on site meets operational requirements and enables work to be carried out safely.
  • You will inspect every wheel after each process stage of repair and ensure it complies with our Quality Management System (QMS).
  • You will assess and review any work task performed outside identified Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS) prior to commencing.
  • You will accurately complete all required documentation.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Appropriate trade qualifications in welding/heavy fabrication.
  • Forklift license or ability to obtain.
  • A strong commitment to safety of yourself and others.
  • Ability to carry out manual labor requirements.
  • Punctual, reliable, and a team player with a can-do attitude.
  • Covid-19 vaccination certificate.
  • Current work rights in Australia.
