Intensive Family Preservation Specialist
This role focuses on supporting the safety and wellbeing of children, young people, and their families to break the cycle of disadvantage.
The work is centered around delivering trauma-informed, child-focused therapeutic casework with a focus on prevention and intervention strategies.
We are seeking an experienced professional who can contribute to our team's efforts in providing a supportive environment for vulnerable populations.
Duties:
- Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized plans to address the needs of clients.
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to families and caregivers through home visits, phone calls, and other means of communication.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure a coordinated approach to case management.
- Maintain accurate records and reports as required by law and organizational policies.
- A relevant degree in Social Work or a related field.
- Prior experience working with vulnerable populations and in a casework setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
