Experienced Database Administrator

Our team seeks a highly skilled and motivated Senior SQL Server Database Administrator to drive database performance and availability across multiple environments.

About the Role:
  • Manage databases for core trading and reporting systems
  • Implement proactive monitoring and performance tuning strategies
  • Collaborate with development teams to provision masked, production-like datasets
  • Automate recurring DBA tasks and develop tools for operational efficiency
  • Support migration and modernisation projects aligned with our global data strategy

This is an opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology across SQL Server 2016-2022 environments and make a significant impact on trading platforms that serve retail investors, institutions, and B2B clients globally.

Key Requirements:
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience as a SQL Server DBA
  • Strong technical skills combined with excellent communication abilities
  • Proven automation experience and knowledge of evolutionary database designs and DevOps processes
  • Hands-on experience with Always-On High Availability solutions, database backup, recovery, and performance tuning expertise
  • Security implementation including TDE encryption and proficiency in T-SQL and PowerShell scripting
  • Experience with git-based source control systems and knowledge of SSIS, SSRS, SSAS, and Power BI
