Job Title: Database Developer

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a skilled Database Developer. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining databases used for self-service analytics.

You will work closely with our client-facing consultants to develop and optimize SQL queries used to drive our platform. This role requires a strong understanding of database management systems, performance tuning and advanced SQL skills.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain databases used for self-service analytics, including schema design and data replication.
  • Liaise with our IT department to proactively identify and manage the smooth running of our application infrastructure and databases.
  • Develop tooling and reporting for managing and monitoring performance of databases and servers.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Azure cloud experience (highly desirable).
  • Three to five years experience in a database developer role.
  • Australian citizenship essential due to federal government client base and need to obtain baseline clearance.
  • Strong SQL Server 2016+ background, including performance tuning, advanced SQL and T-SQL, and database maintenance.
