Senior Orthopaedic Surgeon Opportunity

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments, provide management advice, and care for emergency admissions as required;
  • Assist in operative procedures necessary for patient care and treatment;
  • Coordinate patient admission and discharge processes efficiently;
  • Attend fracture clinic regularly and assess patients in the Emergency Department;
  • Provide operative care/assistance during rostered hours and while on call.
Essential Qualifications and Skills
  • Hold a medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) and be eligible for registration with AHPRA;
  • Demonstrate extensive clinical practice as a registered medical practitioner with significant experience in Orthopaedics;
  • Display excellent clinical skills, judgment, and expertise within a complex clinical environment;
  • Exhibit strong commitment to quality improvement, patient safety, and risk management, and demonstrate sound working knowledge of legal and ethical obligations;
  • Demonstrate outstanding written and verbal communication skills, time management, and problem-solving skills in a multidisciplinary team setting.
