Orthopaedic Surgeon Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Orthopaedic Registrar to join our team at Norwest Private Hospital.

The successful candidate will work alongside several orthopaedic surgeons, gaining exposure to various subspecialties and managing patients on the ward and assisting at orthopaedic operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provision of surgical assistant skills in the operating theatre
  • Review of patients in the Emergency Department and Intensive Care Unit
  • Review of inpatients pre and post operatively
  • Participation in Orthopaedic Department meetings
  • Participation in clinical teaching opportunities

Requirements:

  • Full AHPRA registration
  • Minimum of 12 months experience in specialty
  • Recent experience working in Australia

This is a temporary 12-month appointment starting on February 2nd. We offer professional development opportunities, an Employee Assistance Program, and a convenient location near shopping centers and public transport.

  • National Police check and working with children check required
  • Proof of immunity to specified infectious diseases as a Category A Healthcare worker
