Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Orthopaedic Territory Development Specialist to drive sales and growth within the orthopaedic devices market, primarily in the extremities space, upper limb.

This role will involve building strong relationships with key surgeons and their nursing staff through training, education, and clinical case support. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and securing business opportunities from new and existing surgeons, while also providing in-theatre support to Orthopaedic surgeons for relevant procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Achieving agreed revenue targets by identifying and gaining business from new and existing surgeons is crucial to this role.
  • Providing in-theatre support to Orthopaedic surgeons for relevant procedures and ensuring that all surgical cases are properly equipped with the required instrument kits, implants, and user guides as per each customer's requirements.
Requirements
  • A tertiary education in a related medical field such as paramedicine, biomedical engineering, science (anatomy), nursing, or a Bachelor of Science or similar.
  • Experience working in a hospital environment with Orthopaedic surgeons is ideal, however consideration will be given to individuals who have a strong anatomy & physiology background.
  • Excellent communication & influencing skills and the ability to build relationships quickly are essential for success in this role.
