About the Position:

The primary role of this nursing position is to deliver high-quality care to patients in a recovery setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing direct patient care, working closely with Enrolled and Student Nurses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive patient care within the Recovery Unit, prioritizing individual needs and requirements.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Monitor and report changes in patient condition, ensuring timely intervention when necessary.
  • Assist with personal care and mobility, promoting independence and dignity.
  • Administer medications under RN supervision, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
  • Recent clinical experience in an acute care or hospital setting, demonstrating ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills, with a strong focus on teamwork and collaboration.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, proficiently, and in an organized manner during periods of high demand and activity.
