About The Role

  • Perform recovery tasks to support successful recovery outcomes
  • Manage and action correspondence, processing payments and receipts
  • Negotiate settlements and payment arrangements to achieve the best possible outcomes for our members

Key Requirements

">
  • Experience as a high performing General Insurance Claims Officer
  • Proven ability to provide excellent quality of work to our members, including critical thinking and problem-solving skills to inform decision-making
  • Sound mathematical, reasoning and negotiation skills
  • Sound knowledge of Insurance processes, procedures, and guidelines, together with knowledge of the General Insurance Code of Practice, Privacy Principles, AFCA Dispute Resolution Process and required legislative requirements arising from relevant Acts
  • ANZIIF Insurance qualifications (desirable)
