Job Description

The position of Territory Manager is responsible for developing and managing relationships with new and existing high-level customers within both academia and industry. The role portfolio covers New South Wales, Queensland, and Australian Capital Territory.

We are looking for someone who can communicate with customers at a well-informed and professional level offering them solutions to address their clinical questions related to real-time biology, stratifying patients, and developing drugs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Understand the major drivers and limitations of the market in the relevant territory
  • Pursue new business opportunities within the biotech industry
  • Develop and maintain key opinion leader relationships
  • Map key accounts
  • Manage biomarker discovery projects within accounts
  • Provide technical presentations to potential clients interested in protein biomarker discovery
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute sales strategies and initiatives
  • Monitor and analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for growth

Requirements

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Science or equivalent experience
  • 5-10 years relevant sales experience
  • Proven track record of success in sales, preferably in the biotech industry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail
