Trade Development Specialist

We are seeking a motivated and analytical professional to join our Pulse trading team as a Trade Development Specialist.

This role involves market analysis, trade execution, logistics coordination, and stakeholder relationship building.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Senior Traders with daily market activities, trade execution, and data entry.
  • Monitor and report grower sentiment, pricing trends, and market developments.
  • Assist in understanding container and bulk export pathways, freight rates, and arbitrage opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate records, including trade entries and daily P&L tracking.
  • Liaise with supply chain stakeholders to optimize export options.
  • Participate in team and global market meetings.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and able to work under pressure.
  • Independent thinker with a collaborative mindset.
  • Interest in agricultural commodities and markets.

Qualifications:

  • Tertiary degree in Economics, Finance, Agricultural Economics, or related discipline.
  • Knowledge or experience in commodity trading, export logistics, or market analysis (desirable).
