Our Data Architecture Team within the Commodities and Global Markets business is dedicated to driving the strategic vision for data architecture. You will be joining a newly formed team dedicated to the design and architecture space. Our team supports efforts to align data, digital, design, and engineering to better manage delivery prioritisation, investment decisions, and business aspirations.

As the Head of Commodities and Global Markets Data Architecture, you will lead the design and implementation of our data architecture strategy and frameworks. You'll collaborate with business leaders, ensuring data solutions meet business needs and regulatory requirements. Your role will involve serving as a trusted business advisor for data related matters, establishing governance frameworks, fostering stakeholder relationships, and promoting data-driven decision-making. As well as this, you will build and develop a high-performing team and foster collaboration, developing a data architecture community of practice.

- Extensive knowledge of modern data architecture principles, concepts, and practices
- Strong background in data strategy and associated technical and tooling strategies
- Comprehensive experience in enterprise data modelling framework implementation and governance
- Proven experience in driving data architecture governance across a complex and changing business
- Proficiency in data management frameworks (DMBOK, DAMA) is an added advantage
- Our ideal candidate is an excellent communicator and storyteller, a strategic problem solver, a thought leader, and a team player with experience in Investment Banking or a regulated financial services environment.
