Engineering Drafting Instructor

We are seeking a skilled and experienced educator to join our team as a Teacher of Engineering Drafting at TAFE NSW. As a member of our faculty, you will play a vital role in shaping the next generation of students in engineering drafting.
About the RoleThis is a permanent full-time position located at our Newcastle Campus. As a Teacher of Engineering Drafting, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality education and training to students, ensuring they acquire the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed in their chosen field.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver lectures, tutorials, and workshops to students in engineering drafting
- Develop and implement curriculum materials, assessments, and evaluation tools
- Provide individualized support and guidance to students
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement teaching and learning strategies
- Contribute to the development of the faculty's teaching and learning culture
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- A minimum of three years' post-qualification experience in engineering drafting or a related field
- A Certificate IV in Engineering Drafting or equivalent qualification
- Evidence of holding the appropriate teaching qualifications or a willingness to undertake our 'Paid to Learn' course
